About Me

Welcome to my site. I grew up in a small town in upstate New York, and when I turned twenty-one, I joined the U.S. Navy to see the world. For five years, I worked as a Navy Corpsman, providing emergency care to military personnel, their families, and contractors in places like Guantanamo Bay and Okinawa. After I was honorably discharged in Chicago in 2016, I decided to follow my passion for art.

I started with painting, capturing everyday places—street corners, dive bars, restaurants—and the unique people who filled them. Through painting, I could make sense of the world around me and explore my own place within it. Wanting to dig deeper, I went to Montana State University to study studio art. While I was there, I discovered printmaking and, later on, ceramics, which opened up new creative paths. Working with clay became a playful yet disciplined process that taught me how every medium—whether painting, drawing, sculpture, or ceramics—brings something unique to an artist’s vision.

My goal now is to use everything I’ve learned to tell stories that reflect my experiences as a husband, father, veteran, traveler, and artist. My work explores how things change—places, people, and objects—and how those changes shape us as individuals and as a society. Through my art, I aim to show the beauty and complexity of everyday life and the constant shift we all go through.

Let's connect! Feel free to reach out to me via email. I'd love to hear your thoughts on my work and explore collaboration opportunities.
